9473570069_6832506a51_cAnnette Figueredo is a Naam Yoga Therapies Instructor, Hatha Yoga Teacher, Harmonyum Healing Practitioner, Ayurvedic Educator and a Massage Therapist who has evolved her knowledge of the body through an integrated approach using various modalities and healing protocols.

Annette has also developed a special program to address the post partum population (first 40 days after a woman gives birth) using the principles of Ayurveda and nature to achieve balance during this sacred period in a woman’s life, preventing post-partum depression, and dealing with many of the issues surrounding the post-delivery stage such as insufficient lactation, colic in baby and lack of sleep many new moms endure.

Annette integrates medicinal plant essences in her private therapies and consultations and has found them to be miraculously uplifting and healing for a variety of issues and ailments. Annette first discovered how to use essential oils for healing when she apprenticed with Dr. Light Miller, who she assisted in running an Ayurvedic Pancha Karma clinic in Sarasota, Florida. It was here that she learned about the ancient detoxification ritual of Pancha Karma, with precise use of base oils, herbs and essential oils to purify the deeper tissues of the body.

While simultaneously developing her Ayurvedic knowledge, Annette studied and periodically trained for over a decade with our beloved Dr. Joseph Michael Levry. She IMG_6568first discovered Naam Yoga in 2005 while she was still living in New York City. It was through her discovery of Naam Yoga that Annette developed a heart-centered practice focused on mudras, mantra and breath meditation. Naam Yoga removes negativity from ones life, aligns the mind with pure thought forms and strengthens the electromagnetic field of the heart. It is a system of renewal, greater self-awareness, and making shifts.
